Neues Museum

The Neues Museum was bombed during World War II but has been reconstructed and now holds Berlin’s Egyptian collection including the stunning bust of Queen Nefertiti (found in 1912 in Armana), mummies, sarcophagi, as well as its Prehistory and Early History collections featuring Trojan antiquities and a Neanderthal skull. Beyond the exhibits, the museum itself is very cool – all made of everything original the architect Chipperfield could find.
