St. Michael’s Church (Munich)

Set on Kaufingerstrasse, this is the final resting place of mad King Ludwig II (of Neuschwanstein). The church was finished in 1597 and at the time was the largest Renaissance church north of the Alps. Between the two entrances is the statue of Micahel fighting a Protestant demon in pure Counter-Reformation style.
