A pagoda complex built in 1428, Bich Dong is a picturesque set of three temples built on the side of a beautiful mountain overlooking rolling fields and rice paddies. Be sure to hike to all three pagodas, and then ascend past the last one of a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. We visited on a day trip from Hanoi organized by Handspan Travel that also included Hoa Lu ( Cố đô Hoa Lư) and a Tam Coc River Cruise. Handspan did a great job, and we highly recommend them.
