Cellier Dominicain Wine Tasting
This wine producer offers a nice indoor tasting room and pours both white and red varietals from grapes grown in the nearby hills. The tasting itself is free or you can opt for a cellar tour. The wine was quite good and very reasonably priced (we took a few bottles home).
Wine Tasting at Celler Martín Faixó
Even if you don't stay on the property, the Celler Martin Faixo offers wonderful wine tasting and is worth the stop.
Pizzeria Villa Zuccaro
Good spot for pizza and salads accompanied by a substantial wine list.
Osteria Rosso Divino
This cozy restaurant nestled into a small square in Taormina served one of the best meals we've ever had, in every way. The vegetables were excellent, the truffle pasta was outstanding, and the fresh fish was amazing.
Buža II
There are a few bars perched outside the walls on a cliff directly against the Adratic. It's just cool, there's no other way to describe it. Follow the "Cold Drinks" sign from the square of Rudjera Boškovića and literally climb through a hole in the wall (Buza = "hole in the wall") to this bar offering a shaded area with small chairs and tables.
Malvasija Wine Bar
This wine bar was so excellent we went every night during our stay in Dubrovnik. Located within the old city walls, it's a delightful place for a cozy, charming evening once the cruise ship and day tour crowds leave. They have a selection of over 60 wines, many of which are unique to the area.
Neudorf Vineyards
There are a lot of great wineries in New Zealand, and this was our favorite. Gorgeous grounds and great wine.
Stafford Road Wine Bar
Nice selection of kiwi wines and beers as well as small plates.
