Favorite Hikes in the world

These are some of our favorite hikes around the world. While we understand there are a lot more, most of these hikes are or will be featured in our itineraries and you really can't go wrong with any of them. If you're an avid hiker these are all day hikes with some incredible scenery.

Camden Hills State Park

This park offers numerous hiking trails and a campground, but the main attraction is Mount Battie. You can hike or drive to the summit, which offers an incredible panoramic view of Penobscot Bay.

Burg Eltz

Set in the Moselle valley, Burg Eltz is one of Germany's loveliest medieval castles. This castle has a 900 year history (and managed to avoid destruction through that time) and is still owned by the original family. After admiring the turrets and towers, you'll enjoy a 40 minute tour of the inside.

Tuolumne Meadows

Part of Yosemite National Park, but about 55 miles away from Yosemite Valley at an elevation of 8600 feet, this is the a breathtakingly beautiful subalpine meadow set in the Sierra Nevadas. It offers beautiful fields, wildflowers, lakes, mountains, and cooler temperatures than the valley as well as an array of hikes to make anyone of any level happy.
