Albi is built on the River Tarn and what better way to explore it than a leisurely boat ride in an old fashioned gabarre (flat bottomed boat). Open May 1 - Sept 30, you can pick up one of these excursions from Albi's river banks and sit back for a 30 minute cruise (cruises leave constantly).

Dolphin Bay, aka Laguna Bocatorito, is located near Isla San Cristobal where you can watch dolphins in their natural habitat.

Most lodges offer tours to an indigenous village, or you can pick a company in Bocas Town to go through. We opted for the tour through Popa Paradise Beach Resort which began with a boat ride through a narrow channel in the mangroves. We then followed an indigenous and local guide through the rainforest where he pointed out interesting plants and bird species. You'll walk along planks over swamp water (hold onto the poles sticking out of the water!) and end on a dirt path. You'll then emerge to the beautiful village of Popa Dos.

Touring these islands around Hvar is a MUST. It was an amazing, fun experience complete with one of the best meals we have ever had.
Thailand
A great way to see Phang Nga Bay and some of the islands off of Phuket. Most of the stops are absolutely worthwhile. The caves, James Bond Island, and the boat ride itself are beautiful.

If you’re not a certified diver, this the perfect opportunity to try SCUBA diving in Phuket. The water is beautiful, the boat is nice, and the lunch is good. More importantly, you get to visit incredible dive sites, and our instructor was off-the-charts great.

Visit the most recognizable part of Lake Bled, Bled Island in the middle of the Lake.
Vietnam
Known as "Ha Long Bay on land," this breathtaking part of Ninh Binh Province features incredible limestone formations and vibrant rice paddies. Take a rowboat cruise on the Ngô Đồng River on a small craft driven by a guide who will paddle you up the river with her feet. The Ngô Đồng winds through the mountains around Tam Coc, and it slides beneath three limestone caves near the village of Van Lam.
Vietnam
A stunningly beautiful bay filled with thousands of tall, sheer limestone islands topped with tropical rain forests. The bay is a UNESCO heritage site and one of Vietnam's most popular tourist attractions for a reason. Most people spend a night or more on a boat on the bay, and we highly recommend it.
