Standard Diner

Salads, sandwiches, brunch, entrees, and more with a distinct New Mexico twist. Full bar serving local drafts, margaritas, and other cocktails. A great spot for a meal any time of day.

Maritim Bar

This is a fun stop directly on the sea in Cadaques. It's been in business for over 80 years since 1935, and was a popular stop for Dali. Today you can enjoy sea views over a drink and some good tapas - especially the calamari. If the weather is nice make sure to sit outside.

Marina Cafe

Ortigia's waterfront is chock full of cookie cutter bars blaring music and offering overpriced drinks, but Marina Cafe is one of the better options if you want a mellower atmosphere. The drinks still may be a little pricey, but its outdoor seating is comfy and offers a pleasant spot to sip a cocktail and take in the sights.

Agua Beach Resort

Agua Beach Resort, about a twenty minute drive from Noto and just south of the Vendicari Nature Reserve, Agua Beach Resort is a great place to spend an afternoon, or even a full day. The beach is beautiful, and the water will feel wonderful on a hot day.

Barrel 44

Barrel 44 is a neat beer bar in the heart of Palermo. It offers a large selection of bottles, including several interesting local craft brews. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there's a small outdoor seating area.

Buža II

There are a few bars perched outside the walls on a cliff directly against the Adratic. It's just cool, there's no other way to describe it. Follow the "Cold Drinks" sign from the square of Rudjera Boškovića and literally climb through a hole in the wall (Buza = "hole in the wall") to this bar offering a shaded area with small chairs and tables.

Laganini Lounge Bar and Fish House

This is a great bar on the Vlaka side of Palmizana offering great craft cocktails as well as beer, wine, and food. While the cocktails are a bit pricey, they were very good. It had an extremely beachy vibe with cool drift wood tables and chairs, and seats in the surrounding trees.

Icebar Stockholm

Absolutely a gimmick, the Icebar is nonetheless a lot of fun. The walls, ceiling, bar, and glasses are all made out of blocks of ice chopped from a frozen river, and the room is kept at -7°C (23°F), so guests are provided with parkas and gloves upon entry.
