Located close to downtown Wailea, Monkeypod, located next to one of the trees it’s named after, is a fun restaurant a short drive from the beach. It offers local Hawaiian dishes, fresh fish, wood-fired pizzas, and island-inspired cocktails served in some extra fun glasses. The restaurant was a little loud, but had a nice ambience otherwise. There are also locations in Ka’anapali.
