If you’re looking for an authentic German beer garden experience, it’s hard to do better than Meierei. This brewery offers an outdoor beer garden that serves up traditional German brews as well as basic food (think sausages and fries) on the shore of a picturesque lake. There’s also a full-service restaurant (though it’s substantially more expensive) with both indoor and outdoor seating. Come with cash: the beer garden does not accept credit cards.
