If you stay at the lodging we recommend (Parc Avril) this could not be more convenient. The food was great. They offer a reasonable prix fixe menu with appetizer, main, and dessert. We had an appetizer of salmon tartare that was unbelievably good. The owner was extremely friendly and let us know about the local places our food came from. The restaurant itself is located at the base of an old building and has a very pleasant interior with lovely blue paintings on all of the walls. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace that has a fun beach vibe for warmer days and nights. This restaurant is open on Sunday and Monday which is a rare find in Albi if you happen to be there one of those nights. It’s also a quick 3 minute walk from the old town across the river which can be a bonus in high tourism season. They take reservations.
