Casa Anita

Easily one of the best dinners of our entire trip, Casa Anita is a welcoming and cozy restaurant in Cadaqués serving incredible seafood with an equally wonderful ambiance. We would argue this alone makes the stop in Cadaqués worth it. Step into what feels like a cellar and be greeted by the one of the members of the Martin Faixo family.

The exuberant proprietor welcomed us warmly and greeted every other guests (mostly returning ones who make this restaurant an annual experience) familiarly – it felt like you were stepping into his home. When we were seated he asked us “red or white wine, strong or light” and that was it…we were off on the ride he’d planned for us. He determines the menu for you (though of course will change it if it’s not to your taste/in case of allergy), though he offers you a variety of local catch of the day. Everything was beyond good. You absolutely cannot miss dessert – of which we must have had 15 options. The ice cream was incredible. You must have reservations – call ahead, and many of the tables are communal.
