If you’re staying in Death Valley this is the only place you should consider and is well-worth the splurge. A WPA project, Old Hollywood used to escape from Los Angeles to this getaway out in the desert. You’ll still find a gorgeous fern-tiled pool, decent restaurant, and beautiful sunset views. Do not waste your time (or money) at its sister property, the Ranch at Death Valley.
