A beautiful hotel with large, comfortable guest rooms, and outstanding pool and fitness facilities, the JW Hanoi is designed to cater to business travelers, especially those visiting the nearby national convention center. It also worked really well for us, because it’s outside central Hanoi. As a result, we avoided much of the (often terrible) traffic through Hanoi when we took our tours outside the city. It’s a perfect choice for tourists who aren’t going to spend more than a day or two in downtown Hanoi. But if you’re planning on spending most of your days in Hanoi itself, it would definitely be better to find a place in the French Quarter.
