Stay in a hotel in the National register for historic places when you’re in Yosemite National Park. The Awahnee is not cheap but it really evokes the history of the park. It also offers a great dining room as well. Previous presidents and queens have stayed just here when they explored the valley. This books up far in advance, so plan accordingly.
