A medieval bell tower with forgettable history exhibits. The reason to visit is the climb to the top which is expensive but offers a fantastic view of the city.
Stadsbestuur Brugge
Bruges’ city hall, dating to 1376, offers a decent historical museum, but the main attraction is the grand hall on the second floor.
Sint-Janshospitaal
A hospital dating to the eleventh century, Sint-Janshospitaal is now a museum containing art and artifacts illustrating the history of medicine over the centuries.
Brugse Vrije
A courthouse from the late 1700s, the main attraction is the 16th-century timber, marble and alabaster fireplace made by Lanceloot Blondeel.

An old church hosting a relic claimed to hold the blood of Christ.

Take a tour of this fantastic brewery, and they’ll throw in a full pour of a delicious Belgian beer. They’ve also got a restaurant and bar that offers some of their harder-to-find brews and yummy food.

Bike to Damme
Spend an afternoon biking from Bruges to the quaint medieval town of Damme, about four miles each way. Rent a bike in Bruges and ride along the beautiful Damme canal. Enjoy a drink or a meal in Damme, then return to Bruges.
Boat Trips Brugge (Boottochten Brugge)
Take a tour of Bruges by boat. You’ll get to see the city from a unique perspective, and your guide will tell you stories about the city’s history. There are several operators in the city, but they all offer the same tour.
