One of our favorite bars in DC, McClellan’s Retreat is located a few blocks northwest of Dupont Circle. It’s got a welcoming vibe and neat decor with lots of exposed bricks. The cocktails aren’t cheap, but they’re delicious, and all of the bartenders are pros. The seasonal cocktail specials always offer some unique and tasty options. Visit during happy hour (4-7, Monday-Friday) for deals on wine, beer, and $6 old fashioneds.
