This lovely estate has been the sight of several movies (Pride and Prejudice, among others) and has lovely art and gardens and somewhat annoying and inconsistent opening times (this is a real lived in manor and the family uses it). Generally it’s not open on weekends – check the website and to be sure, call ahead. Closed weekends and September to April.
