This Roman villa is one of the most remarkable, awe inspiring, and unexpected archaeological sites we’ve ever visited. The building itself is impressive enough, but the real attraction is the 60 mosaic floors that are stunningly well-preserved. Each one is an intricate artistic masterpiece. Signs in English will tell you a bit about each room, but we think it’s worth hiring a guide to explain the history and significance of this incredible place.
