If you like the artist Toulouse-Lautrec (ie the one who painted all those famous poster-like pictures of the Moulin-Rouge and dancers), this museum is for you. Even if you only kind of like his art, this museum is an impressive collection (biggest in the world of his art) and very fun to wander through. Housed in the Palais de la Berbie (which used to be the home of Albi’s archbishop) its enjoyable to wander through the building as well. Once your done don’t forget to wander outside in the gardens which offer a sweeping view of the river, old bridge, and other side of town. Buy a combo ticket with the Cathedral Ste. Cecile to save on cost. Allow 45 min – 1 hour for the museum.
