The Met Cloisters

The Metropolitan Museum’s Cloisters is set in Fort Tyron Park in Upper Manhattan on a hilltop overlooking the Hudson River. The building itself is made up of various European monasteries and historic buildings. This branch of the Met houses medieval European history and art. Don’t miss the tapestry series The Hunt of the Unicorn from the 15th and 16th centuries. Head to the cloisters which has a lovely herb garden and great views over the Hudson River. The ticket gives you 3 day access to this, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Met Breuer.
