This is one of the largest libraries in the work and a number of books and manuscripts are on display to the public in the Sir John Ritblat Gallery which is open seven days a week at no charge. Some manuscripts in the exhibition include Beowulf, a Gutenberg Bible, the Magna Carta, Chaucer’s Canterbury tales, as well as many others.
