Everyone has seen pictures of the giant mysterious stones as old as the pyramids. Because of its popularity it can get very busy here so buy tickets in advance and arrive early. When you get there, download the Stonehenge audio tour app (or pay for the audioguide) and start by grabbing the shuttle bus out to the stones, then see the permanent exhibit after you visit the stone circle (to avoid crowds). Allow a couple of hours total. Opens at 9, get tickets in advance – arrive before 10:30 to beat crowds.
