St. Paul’s Cathedral

Christopher Wren’s masterpiece completed in the early 1700s, miraculously survived the Blitz. It’s a Neoclassical masterpiece; the dome was inspired by St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. Climb the stairs for the best views of London. The Crypts are also interesting with memorials to many famous British including the Duke of Wellington and Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson. You can get in free for Evensong or service, but they won’t let you wander around.
