Powell’s is the largest independent bookstore in the world and a Portland Institution. It’s huge – they’ll give you a map it’s that big. Look for the employee suggestion cards on the shelves to begin to orient yourself to some good options. Let your inner bibliophile go wild. There is literally a book for everyone here. There’s also a nice cafe on site so consider sitting a bit with your new purchases.
