This museum is chock full of German’s antiquities. It’s full of artifacts from Greece, Rome, Babylon, and the Middle East. The highlight is the Pergamon Altar (closed off to viewing for renovation until 2025). Other artifacts include the Babylonian Processional Way and Ishtar Gate. You can still see highlights from the Pergamon Altar in the temporary rotunda nearby at Am Kupfergraben.
