Museo Archeologico Regionale Pietro Griffo

Agrigento’s archaeological museum houses a large collection of Greek and Roman artifacts, including urns, statues, and sarcophagi. The main attraction is a massive statue, one of many that once adorned the sides of the temple to Zeus that stood at the end of the Valley of the Temples. It can be somewhat overwhelming, so we went with a guide, which we found extremely helpful.
