Marienplatz is the center of Munich’s Old Town. It’s been a gathering spot for centuries. You’ll see the large column, Mariensaule, which was built during the Thirty Years’ War and the Rathause-Glockenspiel. It’s a lovely square and the postcard image of Munich.
