Bangkok’s Central Park, Lumphini Park is quite beautiful, full of green space with a lazy stream flowing through it and the occasional monitor lizard crossing the road that runs in a broad, sweeping loop around the park. Follow the loop as you make your way around the park, taking in the sights and enjoying its peaceful atmosphere. At the southwest corner of the park is a statue of King Rama VI, which commemorates his opening of the park in 1942. It’s definitely worth swinging by if you’re visiting the park, but nothing you absolutely need to see when visiting Bangkok.
