Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque

Mostar is home to many mosques. This mosque, perched on a cliff over the river, was built in the early 17th century. Inside it sports all the traditional elements of a mosque and has lovely decoration. It’s a mosque now for tourists so you won’t have to remove your shoes or wear head coverings to enter. The terrace behind the mosque gives one of the best views for pictures of the Old Bridge in town.
