We usually don’t suggest places to shop but Delft is synonymous with porcelain and it makes a great gift to bring home. Sure you can visit the touristy Royal Delftware center but this store in downtown / workshop in the center of Delft is far more charming, you can meet the potter and painter, the prices are much more affordable, and shipping pays for itself by avoiding the VAT
