This chateaux is more ruins, but is a fun climb through. The very small fee grants you a card to read in a variety of languages that leads you through this castle that has been standing since the 12th century. The castle for a while actually belonged to two different viscounts who split the land and ruled alongside each other for a while – that’s why there are 2 castles on the grounds, an “old” and “new” castle. Vines overtake parts of the castle and it’s a magical visit.
