While Casa Batllo has a better exterior, Casa Mila is probably the better of the 2 most famous Gaudi apartments to see because of it’s funky roof and lovely interior, made at the height of Gaudi’s career and with original furnishings (vs Casa Batllo where only the exterior was designed by Gaudi). The ticket comes with an audio tour that winds you from the roof to the ground floor. You’ll get to wander an unusual roof setup with sweeping views of the city, the interior of an apartment as Gaudi designed it, and a light filled courtyard. The audio tour does a good job covering the history of the building and facts about Gaudi. As with everything in Barcelona, it’s usually better to buy a ticket online well in advance as they sell out and it can help you avoid long lines. Of note, you can also visit it at night, however you won’t see the apartment at this time (which would be a shame to miss).
