This castle is the most impressive of Edward I mighty castles built 700 years ago to subdue the troublesome Welsh. It was never really finished but it fun to wander around and is famous as being the site where the Prince of Wales (heir to the crown of England) is “invested”. There’s a guided tour for a small fee.
