Berlin Wall Memorial

Located in a park, this memorial/museum will tell you how the wall went up, the history of how the Easterners were kept in East Berlin, and stories of people who crossed the wall. Technically exhibits stretch a mile from the Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station (a ghost station) to Schwedter Strsasse. However, you should focus on the Visitors Center and Documentation center on Bernauer Strasse and continue on a few blocks through a guard tower, open-air display, and ending at the cross street of Strelitzer street. It’s free to visit.
