Ben Thanh market is an enormous building—it takes up an entire city block. The market’s selection isn’t nearly as impressive as the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok, though. At night (starting around 6PM), sellers begin to set up booths on the streets outside the building, and the interior closes at 7. The selection at night isn’t as good as it is during the day, but it’s a much livelier experience and is fun to explore.
