Local Tlingit guide Lisa Edenshaw-Krieger offers tours of the town’s natural and human history. You’ll look for bears and eagles near Herring Cove, and visit the Totem Heritage Center and Totem Bight State Historical Park. Lisa will customize the tour for you and offer recommendations of things do and places to eat in town. We thought the tour could’ve used more focus on the history of the town and the area, it was a bit long, and you can visit all of the sites on your own. But if you like a guide, this is a decent way to see Ketchikan if you have the time.
