If you have decent weather (there is a 1 in 3 chance) a flight from Talkeetna on the way up (or back) to Denali National Park is THE way to really see th mountain. You will fly along massive glaciers and over dramatic ridges – flying completely around the mountain before landing on a glacier surrounded by the massive mountain. The glacier landing is extra but we would not miss it. They are very flexible with reschedules so book on the way up, check weather, and re-book for later if needed.
