Your dog sledding adventure on Svalbard will vary with the seasons. In the winter, you might enjoy a ride through the snow beneath the northern lights. In the summer, you’ll use a wheeled training sled to see some of Spitsbergen’s beautiful valleys. Either way, you’ll get an opportunity to learn how a sled team works and meets some incredibly friendly dogs.
If you go in the summer, you have a couple of options. If you’re more active and up for something a little more adventurous, try driving your own sled on the wheeled training cart through the majestic Adventdalen. If you want something a little tamer, try the wagon ride along the coast.
