Get ready to sing. No really. This 8 hour tour visits the sights where the Sound of Music was filmed and also the lovely village of Hallstatt – famous for launching a thousand screen savers. Part of the joy of Austria is the breathtaking country and mountain scenery and this gets you both. There are two options for this tour – a smaller minibus with Bob’s special tours (Bob’s Bavarian Mountain Tour) or a larger, perhaps somewhat more professional option with Panorama tours. We prefer the former but either is a great way to get out into the gorgeous alpine countryside.
