A great way to see Phang Nga Bay and some of the islands off of Phuket is to do an organized tour. Some of the prettiest islands we have ever seen are off the coast of Phuket so if you’re visiting, you shouldn’t miss them. Different places your tour make take you include:
- Hong Island
- Panak Island
- Lawa Island
- James Bond Island
You should pick the tour that most fits what you want to see. Just a note, generally you get what you pay for. We recommend spending the extra money for a reputable guide company to maximize your chances for a fantastic excursion.
We recommend John Gray’s Sea Canoe – it’s eco-friendly and takes you to some off-the-beaten path spots. However you won’t see James Bond Island on this trip and you do have to canoe. If this is important to you or you can’t canoe, you can try Simba Sea Trips, though we weren’t terribly impressed by them.
