A fun, family-friendly nighttime walking tour of Washington, D.C.’s historic and charming Georgetown neighborhood. Your guide will point some of the area’s historic buildings and tell you spooky stories about them. DC by Foot, which runs the tour, also offers a Wicked Georgetown tour for adults only that features scarier (and more adult-oriented) stories for those 14+. We’ve tried both, and even though we’re adults, we honestly preferred the general tour (though it probably depends on your guide).
The Ghosts of Georgetown is typically offered on Thursday and Saturday nights, while the Wicked Georgetown tour is offered on Fridays and Saturdays. The schedule can vary, however, so check the DC by Foot calendar to book in advance. The tour can fill up, especially around Halloween.
